In August 2018, the revolutionary Greta Thunberg staged a protest back to demand for climate action from political leaders. Adopting the name Fridays for Future, students across the nation missed Friday classes to participate in this peaceful protest, which eventually became part of Extinction Rebellion. This cause spread internationally, and cities in the UK also took part in the strikes.

I was fortunate to be involved in the protests that took place in Exeter, and was impacted by the strength and determination from participants of diverse ages. Seeing elders, young children, and everyone in-between fight for the same outcome felt unifying in a time of need. I began documenting these protests every Friday on film, capturing the motivation, anger, and community within the crowds.
